The Foundation Accès-École Pierre Kirandage is a charitable organization established for purely philanthropic purposes.
Its activities and resources are intended to help children from the village of Ruvumu, Bururi Province in southern Burundi, attend school.
The objectives of the Foundation are:
- Provide opportunities for all children in Ruvumu to access education by providing them with direct financial assistance and school supplies.
- Contribute to creating an environment conducive to student learning and to faculty’s teaching by providing school supplies and equipment.
- Provide small incentive scholarships to students who meet comparatively higher standards of academic performance. or who succeed in passing the high school entrance examination.
- Participate, in collaboration with the local population, in the construction, the renovation and the maintenance of the school infrastructure.
